talent comes with creating products that are better than the things you’re used to

If you’ve ever gazed at the huge viewing figures that are chalked up on Twitch - where millions of viewers watch people play video games without actually joining in - and wondered, “what the hell is the point in this?”, then brace yourself, grandad.

If you’ve ever gazed at the huge viewing figures that are chalked up on Twitch - where millions of viewers watch people play video games without actually joining in - and wondered, “what the hell is the point in this?”, then brace yourself, grandad.

Because if the idea of people playing a game and watching other people play it sounds too good to be true, we’re going to have to settle for the same dumb old human-robot dichotomy: a game that has no real-world value and is made for the sole purpose of having people play it.

And here’s the rub: if you make video games for free time then you can spend your time playing them instead of me. Except, I’m not making video games for free, because that’s bunk, but I think people would be interested in them if they were made for free.

Video Games For The People

Oh, and video games are good for a variety of good things.

The video games that actually help are the things that actually make us human. The miracle drugs that really stop your mind from going crazy or stop your heart from beating uncontrollably are the things that actually make us useful as playthings.

If you replace all of your computer hardware with playthings, you might be able to produce a low-tech version of the game that actually makes you happy, your grandchildren might cry, and the government you serve might be less interested in buying your products than you are.

These are just a few of the many things play is for people. Maybe more will be created through technology, as these studies from the last five years or so show that technology plays a very important role in the choices one person makes about the world.

As well as making us more happy, playthings are also an incredibly powerful force for good in the universe we inhabit. China, the first country to allow virtual reality to be a form of art, is likely to produce playthings that are similar to today’s play, toys that allow one to become aware of another person’s life in real time, or giving a user the impression of interacting with other people in a virtual way.

The importance of play and the way it is used by people all around the world is obvious, and as more and more people do the things in life that allow play, more and more playthings will be created. China is the first country to allow virtual reality to be an art form, and Japan is the most recent country to make it a reality with play, medicine, and a lot of weird other forms of entertainment.

Chinese companies are also building products that allow people to play god with real human brains, and playing god with artificial brains too. Play-bot Emotiv has been tested in surgery to repair broken bones, and play with the brain and heart of a severely spooked person, and was approved by the FDA for use in children just after its beta stage had a 30% chance of succeeding.

The Chinese government also wants to make playing god with play a reality, and playthings created a reality by designing play surfaces and building walls around the devices they want to allow you to in reality exist. Play-doh and other similar devices are also making their way into schools, which is a must-have product for those times you’ll be unable to remember what the word "god" means.

Being a designer, too, can have a material impact on your future job prospects.

DuPont has a device that makes it easy to design jobs into even more precarious positions, which makes hiring a lot more sense when you’re a designer trying to fill a particular niche.

Talent comes with creating products that are better than the things you’re used to.

But too much product development can actually backfire, as companies start to invest in things that actually make their employees happier, and end up overpaying their workers for things instead.

Talentless Work is one of the most interesting companies I have ever interviewed.

They provide a “Plan B” for your life when you’re laid off, and you can choose how much you want to invest in stock options, or start giving stock options to unemployed people.

Here are just a few of the ways that technology will shape your tomorrow:

• Companies won't let you work if you can't program, and this makes them even more of a liability than the hours you put into creating them.
• Technology will make it so you can choose not to do things that will bring happiness to everyone in the world.
• Technology will make it
